HISTORY
Jeff Southam founded Sunshower Sprinklers in 1994 installing residential sprinkler systems and has been running the business ever since. Jeff is now accompanied by his son Doug Southam in running the business together. Sunshower Sprinklers has been under the same ownership longer than any irrigation company in Manitoba.
DESIGN
Have your irrigation system designed and estimated by Manitoba’ only Certified Irrigation designer (CID). An initial free site visit allows our experts to determine your lawns watering requirements. Irrigation systems are designed based on several factors such as the available water supply, water requirements of your plantings/grass and sun exposure on different sides of the property. We offer professionally done CAD as built designs.
PARTS
Sunshower Sprinklers installs what we believe to be the best irrigation product available for an efficient, reliable and easy to use irrigation system that we can be proud of for years to come. Since 1994, with thousands of installations under our belt, we have handpicked select products from two main suppliers, Hunter, and Rainbird. All our systems are wifi compatible allowing you to control your system from your device, from anywhere. Wifi systems use predictive watering to adjust your irrigation based on highly accurate local weather data.
INSTALLATION PROCESS
Our installation process begins with our Certified Irrigation Designer flagging out the job. Our installation team arrives on site around 8:00 AM. Most city properties are started and completed in one day, larger country properties can take 2+ days. We use a vibratory plow to install the pipe minimizing damage to your yard as much as possible. When the install is completed, we will provide a comprehensive walkthrough on how to use the system. We will set you up with the phone application and give you a tutorial on how to control you new irrigation system.
WARRANTY
When you have your system serviced annually by our team, we offer a 5-year warranty on sprinkler heads and timers, a 3-year warranty on all other parts and a 2-year labor warranty.
